Meg has over 15 years of experience in the health economics and outcomes research arena. She has worked for pharmaceutical consulting companies, spent several years in academia as an Associate Professor at the Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy in South Carolina, and established Franklin Pharmaceutical Consulting in 2010. She is currently on the editorial board of the Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy and serves as an AMCP Diplomat.
Over the last decade she has written numerous scientific publications, developed formulary dossiers (both AMCP and GVD), conducted countless studies including retrospective database, systematic literature reviews, and economic modeling studies, drafted value messages, and provided strategic consulting to pharmaceutical companies. She holds a PharmD and PhD from the University of South Carolina.
Meg has worked across a myriad of therapeutic areas. Recent areas of focus include the following: oncology (pancreatic, lung, biliary tract, bladder, GBM, gastric, head and neck, renal cell, breast, melanoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, hematological cancers (CLL, CML, AML, MM) and chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting), hepatitis, diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, hemophilia, mental health (bipolar disorder and schizophrenia), rheumatoid arthritis, and multiple other immunological disorders. She also has experience working with rare/orphan diseases. Prior to entering the HEOR arena, she completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency and worked as a clinical pharmacist.
